There will be four iPhone 12 models this year that includes a 5.4-inch iPhone 12. There is an interesting aspect of this phone — it’ll apparently be smaller than the iPhone SE.
5.4-inch iPhone 12 more compact than 4.7-inch iPhone SE?
You must be thinking, how is it possible for the iPhone with a bigger display to be smaller than the recently released iPhone SE? Let’s not forget the iPhone SE has an older design featuring thick bezels and Touch ID that takes up space. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 will not come with Touch ID and is reported to have a smaller notch than the iPhone 11, giving it more screen overall.

In the tweet posted by EverythingApplePro, he made a CAD-based render of the iPhone 12 and compared it to an actual iPhone SE. Not only is it smaller, but it’s also more ‘boxy’ while sporting the square camera bump as seen on the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro.
iPhone 12 is more powerful
Despite the smaller size, the iPhone 12 will perform better as it will be equipped by the A14 Bionic chip, support 5G connectivity and has an OLED display. However, it will not sport a LiDAR scanner like the more premium models.
