The highly anticipated Huawei P20 and P20 Pro have finally landed on our shores, offering users a whole new experience when taking photos with our phones. The P20 Pro features the world’s first phone that comes with three camera lenses and both the phones comes with advance AI features that offer groundbreaking photography experience in the palm of your hand.
As mentioned in the previous write-up of the P20 phones, the main feature is the cameras as the P20 Pro comes with 40MP RGB sensor, 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens. While the P20 comes with a 12MP main camera and a similar 20MP monochrome lens to enhance photo taking in low light conditions. The AI capabilities of the Kirin 970, which is powering the device, is able to detect up to 500 scenes in 19 categories, it will adjust the camera settings to get the best picture based on the scene identified.
The P20 allows anyone to be a professional photographer as it comes with features like AIS, Huawei’s Artifical Intelligence Stabilisation that allow users to take a long exposure shot without a tripod, 4D predictive focus to keep the subject in focus even when it’s moving by predicting its movements, and AI-Assisted Composition which suggest on how to frame group shots and landscapes.
The front 24MP camera comes with AI beautification and 3D Portrait Lighting which can allow the user to change the lighting on your photos, giving it a studio like feel.
Both the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro will be available starting 6 April 2018. The P20 will retail at RM2599 and the P20 Pro at RM3299, both the phones will come in three colour options, Midnight blue, Pink Gold and Black.
