There may be still a lot of you out there making a fuss over the P30 Pro by HUAWEI, but we’re already moving on to the Mate 30 Pro. Rumours regarding the device have started to present themselves and though it might not be as accurate, at least we roughly know what to expect.

According to a Chinese news website, the Mate 30 series will sport better and larger displays compared to the P30 series. The Mate 30 Pro is rumoured to come with a 6.71-inch AMOLED display made by BOE, and though a 3D face recognition remains in uncertainty, the device will still sport an in-display fingerprint sensor.

When it comes to hardware, the Mate 30 Pro is expected to be equipped with a 7nm Kirin 985 chipset along with the Balong 5000 5G modem, meaning the phone will come with 5G support. However, it is said that only the higher end model will have 5G support, so the Mate 30 might just support 4G network only.

The Mate 30 Pro will also be housing four cameras on its rear with no periscope lens, but will instead be more similar to the Mate 20 Pro’s camera design. Now here comes the amazing bit of information — the battery on the Mate 30 Pro is expected to be of 4,200mAh and will support 55W wired charging which is definitely impressive and it’ll support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging up to 10W, which is twice the speed of current HUAWEI phones.
