The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is the first wearable from Samsung that’s made for outdoor adventures with a more robust titanium body and sapphire crystal glass, not to mention its great 3-day battery life, but the most exciting feature is its ability to support turn-by-turn route navigation, which helps you navigate your way in the wilderness with custom waypoints, here’s how to import a GPX file into your Galaxy Watch5 Pro.

Launch the Samsung Health app on your phone, scroll to the Exercise section and select Hiking or Cycling

For cycling, tap on the drop down menu on the dialog and choose Route target. For hiking, tap on the three dots on the top right and choose Routes.

On the next screen, tap on Import, then select the GPX file that you downloaded on to your phone. Name your Route and tap Save.

On your Galaxy Watch5 Pro, scroll to the Routes tile or simply launch the cycling or hiking workout. Tap Start to begin the navigation

There are a handful of websites that you can find hiking and cycling trails in Malaysia, while some of them will require a subscription to gain access as well, we recommend checking out Alltrails, Bikemap, Wikiloc and GaiaGPS.

The Galaxy Watch5 Pro can be purchased here for RM1,899, read our review here.
