Huawei has just recently teased the Honor V8, which is set to feature a dual-camera setup. The handset has just passed through TENAA, a Chinese regulation website, letting out some key specs in the process.
For starters, there are a couple of variants on the TENAA site – KNT-TL10, KNT-AL10 and KNT-AL20 being the model numbers for the variants. Both the TL10 and the AL10 sport the same specs while the AL20 variant has its specs bumped up from the former. The TL10 and AL10 models sport a 5.7-inch display at 1080p. They are powered by Huawei’s farm-fed HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, the same chip featured in the Huawei Mate 8, alongside 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The AL20 variant, which we think will be dubbed the Honor V8 Plus, has a QHD display of the same size, a slightly more powerful Kirin 955 processor like in the P9 and P9 Plus, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
As teased by Huawei earlier, all three variants feature a dual 12MP rear camera setup, with an 8MP front facing shooter. They come packed with a 3,400mAh battery and a rear fingerprint sensor. The Honor V8 series will be shipped running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, which is a relieve for Android.
