The latest update for Chrome on the Play Store will now cause web pages to load slightly faster in the browsing experience. According to 9to5Google, this is due to the fact that Chrome now utilizes a new a speedier Java Script engine. With this optimization in place, web pages on the Chrome browser will now load at least 10 percent faster than before, up to a maximum of 20 percent.

The latest version of Chrome now supports animated PNG files as well, known as APNG’s, This file format is similar to that of GIF, and has been supported by Mozilla Firefox for quite some time now. Hence, Google is just making up ground in this aspect.
