When HTC launched its U11 flagship not too long ago, it has been said that the phone will come in two variants – one with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of storage and the other with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Major countries such as the US are only having the 4GB RAM model for sale, while the 6GB RAM variant is only available in selected countries.
Malaysia happens to be one of the few lucky regions to get the HTC U11 variant with bumped up memory and storage, alongside others such as Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Russia, Saudi Arabia, China and HTC’s home land Taiwan. If you reside in Malaysia, the HTC U11 will go on sale at starting late June at all authorized HTC retail outlets. The phone will also be offered along with Maxis’ smartphone plans if you’re hoping to get the HTC flagship at a cheaper price.
The HTC U11 is famous for its Edge Sense, allowing users to squeeze the sides of the phone to trigger an action. Other specs include a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 12MP rear camera which tops DxOMark’s camera performance chart and a 3,000mAh battery. The Malaysian price tag for the HTC U11 stands at RM 3,099.
