Asus releases four new peripherals targeted at gamers

Asus has announced 4 new peripherals, two of them belonging to the ROG family and the other two from the Cerberus family. The two ROG products are the ROG Pugio gaming mouse, and the ROG Strix Evolve. As for the Cerberus, there is the Cerberus Mech RGB gaming keyboard and the Cerberus V2 gaming headset.

ROG Pugio

The Pugio features AuraRGB lighting across three zones, including angular light channels on the rear of the mouse and came be synched with other Aura Sync-enabled products allowing the ultimate lighting customization. When paired with an Asus motherboard, lighting can be synchronized between the Pugio and the motherboard. It can also sync with the ROG Claymore keyboard with a single press of the ROG Sync hotkey. The ROG Armoury software allows gamers to adjust the lighting effects, adjust performance and surface calibration.

ROG Strix Evolve

The Strix Evolve features a changeable-shape design and Aura Sync RGB lighting. The top cover can be changed to give you four different ergonomic design, making the mouse usable by left and right-handers. The Omron switches ensure that the mouse will give you at least 50million clicks but because of the reliability, it will even go beyond that.

Cerberus Mech RGB Gaming Keyboard

The built-in Kaihua RGB switches provide tactile, lightning-fast response and ultra-durable lifespan of up to 70 million keystrokes. Full anti-ghosting N-key rollover will ensure all the keys are registered when in the middle of an intense gaming session. Individually programmable backlighting gives the choice to users to customize the lighting based on games that they are playing.

Cerberus V2 Gaming Headset

The V2 features Asus Essence drivers that deliver pristine, high-fidelity audio, further immersing you into the game with impactful, lifelike sound effects and cinematic music. The driver size has been reduced from 60mm to 53mm, allowing larger sound chambers for ricker and more natural sound. The outer headband is built using stainless-steel with a padded inner headband for comfort. The wrap-around earcups are 30% larger than the original Cerberus which provides 50% better sound insulation for gaming immersion and comfort.

The ROG Pugio and Sticx Evolve retails for RM439 and RM369 respectively, while the Cerberus Mech RGB Keyboard and the V2 Green Headset retails for RM529 and RM309 respectively. All these products can be found at all authorized Asus resellers and will come with a 2 year 1-to-1 replacement.
