Apple has had a really good track record in keeping the details of their new products tightly guarded to ensure that they can give a nice surprise to its users. However, when information leaked from within the company gets out there is really not much that can be done and that is the case of a video from the daughter of one of the Apple engineer who showed off the iPhone X to the world.
A YouTuber by the name of Brook Amelia Peterson showed off some features and the overall design of the phone said that her father was fired from Apple due to the video she posted up. Even if other people have recorded features on the phone, it was only done during the launch event and not in this case. Apple has a very strict policy about information leaked by its employees and this is no special case.
After the video reached the trending page on YouTube, Apple contacted Brook Peterson and told her that she needed to take down the video to which she immediately did but her dad was still fired from the company because of the breach of trust.
