One of LG’s latest mid ranger smartphones, the LG K10 (2017) was announced not too long ago back in December last year. The SOS equipped handset is finally being launched in India and will go on sale via the country’s local retailers beginning, before seeing an online launch on the 26th of February through respective online avenues.

The LG K10 (2017) doesn’t seem too impressive when you look it what it offers. First off, on the front is a rather lacksture 720p display instead of a 1080p one, measuring at 5.3-inches. Moving on to the K10’s internals, you’ll find a respectable MediaTek MT6750 processor, alongside 2GB of RAM and a measly 16GB of internal storage which fortunately is expandable to a further 256GB via the micro SD slot.

The camera department of the LG K10 sings typical entry level to mid range. The phone features a 13MP rear camera, coupled with a front facing wide angle selfie shooter of 5 megapixels. The handset packs a 2,800mAh battery, which doesn’t sound too bad given that it only sports a 720p display. A welcome handy feature is that the LG K10 is SOS equipped, and by that we mean pressing the power button 3 times will automatically link you to India’s national emergency number “112”.

The LG K10 however, does not carry a pretty price tag when you consider its specs. Coming in at 15,000 INR (RM997.11), there are definitely better options out there unless you can’t live without the SOS feature of the K10. What do you think?
