Acer Malaysia has opened the country’s first Predator concept store at Plaza Low Yat and marked the occasion with the local launch of the Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop. The new tower is priced at RM18,999 and is available immediately through authorised Acer resellers and the Acer eStore.
The Predator Orion 7000, model PO7-665, pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. Acer is positioning it as an all-in-one high-end system for demanding games, streaming, content creation and other workloads that need plenty of graphics performance.
High-end hardware with room for upgrades
The Malaysian configuration comes with 32GB of DDR5-6000 XMP RGB memory and a 1TB SSD. Buyers can expand the desktop to as much as 128GB of DDR5 memory, while its two M.2 slots support up to 6TB of SSD storage. There is also room for a 3.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of up to 4TB.
Cooling is handled by Acer’s Predator CycloneX 360 system and a liquid cooler for the CPU. Acer claims the fan layout and open-channel structure improve cooling efficiency by 15% and reduce motherboard temperatures by 9°C, although real-world results will depend on the workload and operating environment.
The chassis uses an EMI-compliant tempered-glass side panel to show off the internal components and RGB lighting. Acer backs the machine with a three-year on-site warranty.
Launch offer runs until 14 October
Customers who purchase the Predator Orion 7000 by 14 October 2026 will receive a Predator Cestus 335 gaming mouse worth RM299, while stocks last. At RM18,999, this is firmly a premium pre-built desktop, but the specification also removes much of the component selection and cooling setup normally required for a system in this performance class.
Malaysia’s first Predator concept store opens at Plaza Low Yat
The new concept store gives shoppers a dedicated place to try Acer’s latest Predator gaming PCs and technologies. Opening promotions run until 31 October 2026, with discounts of up to RM1,300 on selected devices.
Among the highlighted offers, the Acer Nitro 50 desktop is discounted to RM3,399, while the Predator Helios Neo 16 and Helios Neo 16S gaming laptops receive RM600 discounts. Acer notes that offers may vary by sales channel and remain subject to availability.
