Infinix is expanding its GT gaming range beyond smartphones with two new accessories aimed at turning a compatible phone into either a handheld console or a desktop gaming setup. The GT NX Controller and GT NX Station are now available for online pre-order in Malaysia, with each product carrying a recommended retail price of RM399 and an introductory price of RM299.
Customers who want both accessories can pre-order the GT NX Bundle from RM549. Infinix says the range will also reach its brand stores nationwide in early October 2026, while stocks last.
GT NX Controller adds a touchpad and split controls
The GT NX Controller is a split gamepad that clamps around a smartphone, but its most unusual feature is a large glass touchpad designed for first-person shooters. Infinix describes this as a “pixel-level FPS precision touchpad” that can handle swipe controls or operate in mouse mode, giving players another way to aim without relying entirely on analogue sticks.
A three-chip architecture handles inputs across the two controller halves, while four-zone independent mapping is intended to support games that do not offer native controller input. The controller also supports phone-clamp, desktop and single-hand configurations, making it usable for portable play as well as a larger display setup.
Infinix rates the built-in battery for more than 22 hours of play. Three haptic intensity levels are available through XArena, and the mapping mode can generate specific vibration cues for supported FPS events. These include longer feedback during aircraft take-off or parachuting and shorter feedback when the final play zone shrinks. The exact behaviour will still depend on the game, control mode and device software.
GT NX Station combines a dock with active cooling
The GT NX Station is a foldable 9-in-1 dock with a built-in thermoelectric cooler. Instead of using separate adapters for a display, network cable and cooling fan, it places those functions in one desktop unit with RGB lighting.
Its connections include HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB-A ports, a USB-C host cable, USB-C, USB-C Power Delivery input, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wired Ethernet should help avoid some of the inconsistency of a busy Wi-Fi network, while Power Delivery pass-through can keep a connected phone charged during longer sessions. The active cooler is designed to reduce thermal throttling, although actual temperature and sustained-performance gains will vary by phone and room conditions.
The station supports mirrored output as well as an extended-display mode. Infinix says Extend mode can put a game on the external screen while leaving the phone free for tasks such as reading a guide or replying to messages. It can also allow the phone display to be switched off to reduce power use and heat.
Compatibility matters before ordering
Despite the “universal” wording in the announcement, external-display support is not guaranteed on every USB-C phone. Infinix says Extend and Mirror modes work with selected Infinix models running XOS 16.3 or newer, as well as Android and iOS devices that provide native DisplayPort output over USB-C. Some other Android devices may require a driver supplied through the dock, and the external monitor or television needs an HDMI input.
The GT NX Controller and GT NX Station are available through Infinix’s official Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop stores. At the promotional rate, either accessory costs RM299 instead of its RM399 RRP, while the combined online pre-order bundle starts from RM549. Infinix has not specified an end date for the introductory pricing, so buyers should check the applicable store listing and terms before purchasing.
