HONOR has officially launched the HONOR X9e Pro in Malaysia, pricing the new mid-range phone from RM1,899. Its headline upgrades include an unusually large 11,000mAh battery, a 6.8-inch 120Hz display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 performance and an upgraded 108MP main camera.
The phone arrives alongside a wider batch of HONOR devices, including the Pad 20 tablet series, Watch 6, AI Note voice recorder and HONOR CHOICE Security Camera. All five product lines are now available locally, although the X9e Pro is initially being offered through a pre-order campaign.
A rugged phone with an 11,000mAh battery
Durability remains the main theme of the X9e Pro. HONOR says its Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0 combines reinforced metal, impact-managing internal structures and full-area adhesive bonding to protect vulnerable components. The company claims the phone can survive drops of up to three metres and has received an SGS five-star rating for drop resistance in harsh conditions.
Water protection is rated at IP68, IP69 and IP69K. HONOR also says the device can be used for underwater photography at depths of up to 10 metres under controlled conditions. As with any water-resistance rating, owners should follow HONOR’s usage and warranty guidance before taking it underwater.
The 11,000mAh battery is particularly notable for a phone measuring 8.08mm thick and weighing 203g. HONOR quotes up to three days of typical use or 66.8 hours of video playback, though real-world endurance will depend on settings and usage. Charging is handled by 80W HONOR SuperCharge, while 27W wired reverse charging lets the phone supply power to other compatible devices.
Up front is a 6.8-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a claimed peak brightness of 10,000 nits in supported scenarios. Eye-comfort features include AI Defocus Display, Circadian Night Display and motion-sickness relief.
Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and a stabilised 108MP camera
The HONOR X9e Pro runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 platform. HONOR pairs the chipset with its Hummingbird Architecture 2.0 software optimisation and says the phone is designed to maintain smooth performance for up to 72 months.
Its 108MP main camera gains CIPA 6.0-level image stabilisation, accompanied by AI-assisted zoom, low-light and portrait tools. Other software features include AI Moving Photos, Motion Trail, Motion Clone and AI Image to Video 2.0. Underwater colour tuning is intended to reduce the blue or green cast that often appears in submerged photos.
HONOR is also bundling its Rakyat Care+ protection plan, covering front and rear screen cracks and liquid damage for 730 days, plus a one-year extended warranty. Buyers should check the full terms and eligible incidents before relying on the coverage.
Malaysia pricing and pre-order offer
The HONOR X9e Pro costs RM1,899 with 256GB of storage and RM2,399 with 512GB. Both configurations list 24GB of memory, comprising 8GB of physical RAM and 16GB of HONOR RAM Turbo virtual memory. Colour choices are Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black.
Pre-orders run from 24 September to 8 October 2026 through HONOR Experience Stores, HONOR Malaysia’s website, the brand’s official Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop stores, and authorised dealers. Full-payment pre-orders receive an RM100 instant rebate and a promotional bundle valued by HONOR at RM1,626, including an HONOR Pad X7 Wi-Fi tablet and the Rakyat Care+ coverage.
HONOR Pad 20, Watch 6 and other AIoT devices
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro uses a 12.1-inch 3K anti-glare display with a 165Hz refresh rate and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It costs RM2,499 with 16GB of listed memory, including 8GB of RAM Turbo, and 256GB of storage. The standard Pad 20 has a 12.1-inch 3K 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and the same 10,100mAh battery capacity. It is priced at RM1,999 for the Wi-Fi model and RM2,299 for the 5G version.
The HONOR Watch 6 supports 120 workout modes, NFC and a claimed battery life of up to 35 days. It costs RM699 with a fluoroelastomer strap or RM799 with a leather strap.
Meanwhile, the RM699 HONOR AI Note is a slim magnetic recorder that can transcribe speech in more than 130 languages and offers AI translation, mind maps and question-and-answer tools. The RM129 HONOR CHOICE Security Camera records 2K video through a 3MP sensor, offers 360-degree rotation and can automatically track movement. These devices, along with the Pad 20 series and Watch 6, are available now through HONOR’s Malaysian retail and online channels.
