Coleman brand of products are usually sold in many different stores nationwide, but now you can check out a larger range of their products at Coleman’s first retail concept store located at Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre. This 956 square feet flagship retail store – owned and operated by FM Retail Management Sdn Bhd and distributed by Momentum Strike Sdn Bhd, showcases more than 500 lines of outdoor recreational products under the Coleman umbrella of brands including Campingaz, Stearns, and Sevylor. Some products made exclusively for the Japan market are also available in Malaysian market for the first time, all at this store.
In conjuction with the opening, a 3-day Coleman “Own the Weekend” event is held at Sunway Pyramid’s Blue Concourse starting from today until this Sunday, 17 April 2016. There are fun-filled activities held at this event to allow you to explore and learn more about Coleman’s range of products. Some interesting challenges have been setup such as a 5-minute campsite set-up challenge with a Grand Prize of a complete set of Coleman campsite equipment worth RM6,000; a treasure hunt using the Coleman Outdoor Wagon; and Coleman Cooler Box Jenga. The crowd favourite was the ice-cream making activity using Coleman cooler jugs, accompanied by a team of cooler box percussionists who will perform live throughout the 3-day event.
The company plans to open another Coleman retail store in the second half of the year, with lots of other exciting events lined up such as glamping with pets and a rooftop party among many others.
