If you think you have a knack for mobile photography, vivo is giving you a chance to flaunt your skills with the vivo VISON+ Mobile Photography Awards competition, which is held in partnership with National Geographic.
The global event lets participants showcase the beauty of Malaysia using only your smartphone – and winners will receive up to $15,000 (about RM62,100) cash, one vivo smartphone, an award certificate, and have their photos featured in the National Geographic Magazine and other photo exhibitions too!
There are also six category winner prizes, each consisting of the same items except with $5,000 (about RM20,700) cash instead; while one honourable mention prize with $1,000 (about RM4,140) plus the other goodies will be awarded. The remaining top 30 contestants chosen will also win themselves a vivo smartphone too – not too shabby at all!
If you’re looking for inspiration on the kind of work to submit, Pulitzer Centre 2018 Grantee Ian Teh could be a good reference as he showcases his portraits of Malaysia, all taken using a vivo X50 Pro; not to toot our own horns, but we too had a go at creating with the X50 Pro which you can watch here:
The deadline for submissions is this November 20, so visit the contest page here to sign up soon, or learn more about the competition.
