Samsung opens Trade Up Program for the Galaxy Note9 in Malaysia

Samsung has started a trade up program for their Galaxy Note9 phone. They are not only accepting Samsung phones, but they are open to other manufacturers like Apple, Oppo, Vivo and more.

There are some requirements that your phone has to pass in order to be accepted for the trade up program,

  1. Your device must be able to turn on and off and the IMEI must be accessible
  2. The display screen is functional
  3. No damage, missing buttons or cracked casing
  4. The device might be unlocked

There is a long list of devices on the website it is broken down into three grades of A, B and C:

Grade A
All parts of trade-in device are in good working conditions, including but not limited to the following:-

• Housing – No Dent, Peeling, Crack & Open Gap

• Home Button – No Scratches/Peeling, Crack & Open Gap

• LCD Screen – No Fine Line Crack, Dead Pixel, Shadow & Discolored

Grade B
All parts of trade-in device are in good working conditions, SAVE AND EXCEPT the following conditions are allowed:-

• Housing – Dent/Peeling

• Home Button – Scratches/Peeling

Grade C
All parts of trade-in device are in good working conditions, SAVE AND EXCEPT the following conditions are allowed:-

• LCD Screen – in working condition but Screen Display and/or Back Glass Cover Fine Line Crack only

Grade D
All parts of trade-in device are in good working conditions, SAVE AND EXCEPT the following conditions are allowed:-

• Housing – Dent/Peeling

• Home Button – Scratches/Peeling

• LCD Screen – in working condition but with shadow
