Xiaomi fans will be happy to know that the company has introduced the Redmi 6 and 6A here in Malaysia and just like all Xiaomi products, it comes with a great price that is affordable to everyone.
The Redmi 6 comes equipped with the MediaTek Helio P22 processor which also features ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture which can switch between the performance and power efficient cores depending on the task. This will also offer better battery performance due to the low powered cores. Other than that, it comes with a 5.45-inch 18:9 display and a 12MP+5MP sensor setup on the back with a main sensor size of 1.25um. This allows for better image quality even in low light.
The Redmi 6A, on the other hand, comes with a MediaTek Helio A22 processor and is powered by a 3000mAh battery. It has a single 13MP rear-camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Redmi 6 and 6A comes in three colours of Gold, Black and Blue and will cost RM499 and RM349 respectively. The phones will be available for purchase starting 25 July 2018 on Xiaomi’s official Lazada and Shopee store or all authorized Mi Stores and Mi Zones nationwide.
