For those of you that are anticipating the new Surface Phone or whatever they may call it, might be disappointed as a recent report has indicated that the phone will only arrive in 2019.

Codenamed Andromeda Project, is said to be the first foldable phone from Microsoft that will be able to replace your tablet when it is completely folded out. Instead of releasing the phone this year, the company has decided to rework the phone. This information comes from Thurrott’s Sources and the reason for that is because the “software and hardware do not create a compelling solution” and thus they have gone back to the drawing board to make every aspect of the phone better. The report goes on to say that the device will be pushed back to a late 2019 release as they are also planning to equip the device with better specs which is a good thing as Qualcomm is finalizing the Snapdragon 850 processor which is said to power Windows 10 devices.

It looks like Microsoft might be late to the foldable party as Samsung is set to release the first foldable phone in early 2019 which might just be the Galaxy X phone that has caught wind this year.
