Remember how TM said that it will be upgrading its customers’ internet speed for free? Well, if you’re interested in the update, you can now register for it as TM has launched the “Thank You Surprise” campaign yesterday.
In order to get your free update, all you need to do is visit this website and fill in all the required information. Once successful, users will be informed via SMS when their internet speed have been upgraded. Upon receiving the confirmation, users will need to turn off their UniFi modems for 10 minutes in before turning it on again to get their upgraded speed.
The free upgrade will have your current UniFi subscription stepped up to the next available tier. For example, those who are on the 30Mbps package will be stepped up to the 50Mbps package while the 50Mbps subscribers will be stepped up to the 100Mbps package. TM’s website has stated that the upgrades will take place between January and June 2017 so some of you may get the speed upgrade faster than others.
