Xiaomi Mi3 Unboxing and First Look

Finally, the moment that everybody have been looking forward to is happening, Xiaomi has finally landed here in Malaysia and we’ve caught up with Hugo Barra, VP of Xiaomi Global for a media review session. Of course, we did come back with something, and that is the company’s flagship – the Xiaomi Mi3. Welcome to Malaysia, Xiaomi! The Xiaomi Mi3 is a premium flagship smartphone from Xiaomi, announced back last year, the phone is a serious contender to many other well known smartphone brands. The Mi3 isn’t a slouch when it comes to specifications, it has a QualcommSnapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB Sandisk Flash Storage, 5-inch IPS Full HD display by JDI, 13MPSony BSI Camera with Dual LED flash by Philips, 2MP BSI front-facing camera, WiFi AC, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Miracast wireless display, 3050mAh battery and supports DC-HSPA+ 42Mbps. Xiaomi Malaysia will start selling the phone on May 20th viawww.mi.com and it will be priced at an AMAZINGLY cheap price of RM889, making it the cheapest Snapdragon 800 device to date. The phone comes preloaded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will receive an update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat in coming weeks.

Customers will be able to grab the phone via Mi.com, we’ve also listed the list of service centres available nationwide should you need to send your Xiaomi smartphone back for service.
