Tune Protect has introduced a new protection plan in Malaysia and it caters to extreme sports, known as Sports+. Malaysia is the first country Tune Protect decided to launch the Sports+ which includes sports like paragliding, snowboarding and even bungee jumping.
The on-demand protection plan allows its customers to get protection with just a few clicks on the site, whereby it can cost from RM 5 to RM 350. The coverage can last from 1 day to 1 year, which is very versatile for customers especially those who only do extreme sports once in awhile or when they’re travelling overseas.
The protection plan also comes in two options; one covering up to RM 33,500 and the other covering up to RM 56,000. It includes accidental deaths, permanent disablement, medical expenses and also sports equipment damage.
In terms of eligibility, customers have to be aged between 18 to 65 years old and be a Malaysian. However, the plan is also available for non-Malaysians who are PR or those under the Malaysia My Second Home program, and it’s made for those who are not professional athletes.
Tune Protect aims to provide affordable and extensive coverage for sports hence the introduction of Sports+, which will soon be made available in Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. Tune Protect also plans on releasing their own application around early next year to provide more convenience to their customers.
Sports+ is now available on Tune Protect’s website, and the first 200 customers to join the plan will be able to get 25% cash back with the code TPSPORTS18 that will be expiring on 31 December 2018.
