Toshiba has just launched their newest lineup of 4K Android TVs in the form of the Z770 and M550; this comes on the back of the brand’s reemergence in the local scene with the introduction of the C350 and V35 a month ago.

Toshiba Z770

The Z770 is the brand’s flagship product and it comes in a large 65-inch panel size, while the M550 sites in price range below and comes in three variants – 50-, 55-, and 65-inches.

The former combines features such as the REGZA Engine 4K PRO software, Quantum Dot Color, AI Essential PQ, and AI Picture Optimizer to offer you the best picture quality possible.

Illuminating the panel is Full Array Dimming backlighting that allows for impressive contrast and dynamic range output. For gaming, there’s also support for up to 120Hz refresh rate, making it a great option for your PlayStation 5. There’s also support for AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen-tearing.

In terms of audio, you get a 30W Quad Passive REGZA bass woofer, along with two 25W@ Clear Direct Two-way Speakers. These speakers are front firing, which makes the auditory experience more immersive.

Moving on, the M550 is no slouch either – it comes with the REGZA Engine 4K along with Toshiba’s Ultra Essential PQ technology that gives users what brand claims as “theatre-level” experience even at home.

For audio, you get Dolby Vision-Atmos that works alongside the REGZA Power Audio Pro software to enhance the TV’s 25W Power Bass Woofer, and dual speakers.

Both models come with Android out of the box, which means you get access to the Google Play Store and Google Voice Assistant as well.

The Toshiba Z770 is priced at RM6,999; while the M550 is priced from RM2,999, RM3,999 for the 55-inch model, and RM4,999 for the 65-inch variant.

There’s no word on when they will be available to purchase just yet, but you can follow their Facebook page here for more updates.
