Sony Malaysia has just announced two new television series that utilized the next generation Picture Processor X1 Ultimate. The TVs in question is the A9F and the Z9F which falls under the MASTER Series which is a name that Sony gives to its highest-end products.
MASTER Series A9F 65- and 55-inch
The A9F TV comes with an OLED panel with Pixel Contrast Booster, 8 million self-illuminating pixels and Sony’s original panel controller for OLED to bring an enriched visual experience alongside unprecedented black with authentic colour and a wide viewing angle. The Picture Processor X1 Ultimate provides the ultimate 4K HDR viewing experience and comes with other technologies like the Object-based Super Resolution, Object-based HDR remaster, Super Bit Mapping4K HDR and Dual database processing.
Sony has used a unique way to produce sound from the TV. Because of its extremely thin form factor, they utilized Acoustic Surface Audio+ which emits sound from the display it self-thanks to the actuators and two subwoofers facing sideways.
Colour has further enhanced thanks to Sony’s TRILUMINOS Display which further enhances colour accuracy. Lastly, it supports Android TV 8.0 which features voice control so you don’t have to lift a finger.
MASTER Series Z9F 75- and 65-inch
The Z9F also comes with the same Picture Processor X1 Ultimate which is in the A9F and comes with the same technologies as well. It comes with an X-Wide Angle which minimizes the colour change when seen from the side and comes with a full-array LED Backlight for ultra-high contrast. Motion blur is also minimized thanks to the X-Motion Clarity which keeps fast images clear and easy to view with no loss of brightness.
There is also the X-tended Dynamic Range PRO to produce better contrast by balancing the light output on different parts of the screen. It has a brightness range three times of a conventional LED-backlight TV and it has a TRILUMINOUS Display. Lastly, it also comes with Android TV 8.0 which can control the TV using only your voice.
The A9F will be available in Malaysia from September 2018 for RM21,999 for the 65-inch variant and RM14,999 for the 55-inch variant.
