Samsung has taken to CES 2020 its TV-focused line-up of products this time around and one of the standout products debuted by the Korean company is a QLED 8K TV that offers 99-percent picture  real estate.

Dubbed the Q950TS, the TV is considered bezeless but actually has a 2.3mm metallic frame that is not noticeable when the panel is turned on. According to pictures, it really appears like you’re just looking at all picture and no frame – impressive.

Plus, the TV is surprisingly thin measuring at only 15mm even when it’s packed with a local dimming LED backlight setup. There aren’t a lot of 8K content out right now, so you’d be hard-pressed to find a reason to buy this thing, but we say let companies innovate – in time, 8K will eventually become the new normal, and TVs like this could more living rooms then.

That’s especially likely since Samsung has equipped the TV with AI ScaleNet, a tech that improves content streaming by preventing data loss from servers. It also supports object tracking sound plus (OTS+) which recognizes moving objects within in the content, and adjusts the direction of the sound coming from the TV based on the location of the object.

There’s no word on how much it’ll cost yet, but we know it’ll be set for a release some time this year.
