Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S26 FE in Malaysia, expanding the Galaxy S26 family with a more accessible flagship experience built around upgraded cameras, smarter Galaxy AI features and the latest One UI 9 software.
The Galaxy S26 FE will be available in Malaysia from 4 September 2026 in Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio, with prices starting at RM2,899 for the 128GB model. Samsung is also offering launch promotions that can bring the effective price down to as low as RM2,499 during the promotional period.
Upgraded Cameras With My FanCam and Super Steady

Photography and video are among the biggest upgrades on the Galaxy S26 FE. Samsung has enhanced the triple-camera system with a 3x optical zoom camera, improved Nightography processing and a new 12MP front camera with a wider field of view for easier group selfies.
My FanCam, previously introduced on Samsung’s latest foldables, also makes its way to the S26 FE. The feature can automatically track a selected person while recording video and keep them centred in the frame, reducing the amount of manual reframing required when capturing concerts, sports or other moving subjects.
Super Steady with Horizontal Lock further improves video stabilisation by keeping footage level during fast-moving activities, while Photo Assist allows users to edit images using natural-language prompts. Users can change the look of a scene, add elements or restore missing areas, with each edit reviewable and reversible along the way.
Gemini Omni adds another layer to the creative experience by helping users turn photos and videos from Gallery into polished video clips that are ready to share.
One UI 9 Brings More Context-Aware Galaxy AI

The Galaxy S26 FE is the first model in the S26 family to ship with One UI 9 from day one. Samsung’s latest interface introduces a more personalised version of Now Brief, allowing users to customise briefing cards for information such as weather and wellness insights, while Now Nudge can surface relevant suggestions from selected third-party apps and notifications.
Circle to Search with Google has also been upgraded to recognise multiple objects within the same image, making it easier to identify products, places and other items without carrying out separate searches.
Samsung is also bundling a six-month Google AI Pro trial with the Galaxy S26 FE, including expanded AI capabilities and 5TB of cloud storage for eligible users.
4,900mAh Battery, 45W Charging and Seven Years of Updates

Powering the Galaxy S26 FE is a 4,900mAh battery with support for up to 45W wired charging. Samsung says the device can reach around 69% charge in approximately 30 minutes when used with a compatible 45W adapter.
The phone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling, gaming and media playback while maintaining the thin and lightweight design associated with the Galaxy S lineup.
Smart Switch has also been improved for users moving from Android or iOS. Compatible devices can begin a wireless transfer by scanning a QR code, with support extending to data such as passwords, passkeys, call history, accessibility settings and eSIM information.
For long-term ownership, Samsung promises up to seven generations of operating system upgrades and seven years of security updates from the global launch date. Samsung Care+ is also available, while One UI 9 introduces a new Warranty and Care settings hub for managing device support and coverage.
