Samsung Malaysia has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ flagship tablets will be arriving to the country this 28 August, which is pretty quick considering they were only announced back in August 5 during Samsung’s UNPACKED event.

As a recap, the regular Galaxy Tab S7 measures at 11-inches and packs an LTPS LCD 1560×1600 panel while the Galaxy Tab S7+ comes equipped with a larger and prettier 12.4-inch Super AMOLED 2800x1752p display. Both tablets push an impressive refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Galaxy Tab S7 series has a familiar squarish frame, but Samsung says that the Tab S7+ is one of the thinnest tablets in the market with a thickness of only 5.7mm.

Powering the tablets is a Snapdragon 865+ chipset as well as 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Regular Tab S7 packs an 8,000mAh battery while the larger Tab S7+ comes with a 10,090mAh battery – both devices support up to 45W of SuperFast Charging.

For imaging, the Tab S7 sports a 13MP dual camera lens with a 5MP ultrawide shooter. The tablets are capable of recording at 4K resolution at 30FPS.

One of the top selling points of the Tab S7 series is the support for the latest Samsung S Pen stylus which now offers lower touch latency at only 9ms. The tablets are compatible with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard which comes with a keyboard and a holster of sorts for the S Pen when it charges magnetically at the back of the tabs.

In Malaysia, it looks like we’re only getting the WiFi variant of the Tab S7 series – but perhaps the LTE and 5G models will come at a later time. There’s no official Malaysian pricing yet unfortunately, so we’ll have to go on the US pricing for reference: Galaxy Tab S7, from $650 (RM2,725); Galaxy Tab S7+, from $850 (RM3,564).
