The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was supposedly cancelled due to chip shortages, but the latest report from SamMobile suggests that the device will be launched after all.

However, the Galaxy S21 FE will only launch in January 2022 — this is likely due to the aforementioned issue of chip shortages.

With the launch of this device in January 2022, it’s unlikely that Samsung will launch its next flagship at the same time.

This means that the Galaxy S22 will be delayed to February, unlike the Galaxy S21 that was launched in January this year.

The Galaxy S21 FE is also expected to have a quiet launch since it’s a little too late and too close to the launch of Samsung’s next flagship.

The delay isn’t a bad thing for Samsung

A later launch will give Samsung more time to stockpile the amount of chips needed for the Galaxy S22 series.

The upcoming phones are something to look forward to, especially the Galaxy S22 Ultra that is expected to come with an S Pen slot.
