Samsung today launched two new Galaxy A-series smartphones in China – Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40s. In addition to the Galaxy A60 and Galaxy A40s, the South Korean company also launched the Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A80 in the country.

The new Galaxy A60 has a very similar design to the Galaxy A8s launched in China late last year. It has a 6.3-inch Infinity-O display featuring Full HD+ resolution and a claimed 91.8% screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor with an Adreno 612 GPU. In the memory department, the smartphone has 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the back of the phone is a triple camera setup with a 32MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. Unlike the Galaxy A50, the Galaxy A60 does not have an in-display fingerprint sensor. Instead, it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A40s, on the other hand, appears to be a rebranded Galaxy M30 for the Chinese market. It sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and runs on an octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset. The budget Android smartphone has a 13MP + 5MP + 5MP triple camera setup at the rear and a 16MP selfie snapper up front. Its biggest highlight is the massive 5000mAh capacity battery with 15W fast charging support.

We expect the Samsung Galaxy A60 to slowly make its way to markets outside China in the coming weeks. However, Samsung is yet to officially confirm the same.
