Samsung begins teasing its Galaxy A series smartphone for 2017

Samsung’s mid-range offerings, the Galaxy A series, is due for a refresh soon as the company has released a teaser image for it.

Aside from the teaser image, press renders and specifications for the 2017 Galaxy A5 has also been leaked today, revealing some rather interesting information. As the render shows, the Galaxy A5 appears to be available in Black, Gold, Blue and Pink colours.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy A5 will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7880 processor and 3GB of RAM. There will be 32GB of internal storage as well asa a 3,000mAh battery. For the camera, the Galaxy A5 said to sport a 16MP camera on both the front and back of the phone. Retail price for the Galaxy A5 will reportedly be around USD390 (RM1,747). No information has been leaked so far regarding the A3 and A7 which will presumably be available as well.

With CES expected to take place in Las Vegas next week, we fully expect more details about the 2017 Galaxy A series to be revealed then.
