While OPPO has already made quite the impression with the Find N when it comes to its foldable display tech, the company has launched the Find N2 foldable phone with an even more impressive build quality at the OPPO INNO DAY 2022 event, this Galaxy Z Fold4 rival is now lighter at 233g, features no hinge gaps and an even less visible display crease on the internal display.

Like the recently announced Honor Magic Vs, the reason why the Find N2 was able to achieve such a lightweight design is due to the number of parts required to 100, which is 38 lesser components from its predecessor, there’s also premium materials such as carbon fibre and high-strength alloy.

Furthermore, the Find N2 continues to deliver one big feature over other similar class devices – a friendly 17.7:9 aspect ratio 5.54-inch 120Hz AMOLED external display that makes you feel more like a conventional smartphone when using it folded, while its internal display is an expansive 7.1-inch 120Hz AMOLED panel, both sport the same peak brightness at 1500 nits.

Powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor assisted by the Marisilicon X Imaging NPU, the Find N2 comes with an upgraded camera system, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor with OIS, a 48MP ultrawide sensor serviced by a Sony IMX581 and a 32MP telephoto lens that’s serviced by a Sony IMX709, OPPO claims to be a self-developed solution that’s implemented by Sony.

The Find N2’s battery capacity has been increased to 4520mAh and supports 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, which takes a mere 42 minutes to fully charged from 0%.

While the OPPO Find N2 sounds like a worthy successor, OPPO hasn’t revealed plans on its global and local availability, but it is most certain that you will find it on sale in China.
