It sports a newer Snapdragon 821 processor, a new 128GB storage variant, a bigger battery and a improved 16MP front facing camera. The OnePlus 3T also comes in a new Gun Metal Dark Gray color option apart from the Soft Gold model. Also not forgetting, with every new phone comes a new set of wallpapers. Hampus Olsson, the man and artist behind the artsy wallpapers seen on OnePlus’ devices since the OnePlus 2, has made his personally painted wallpapers for the OnePlus 3T available to be downloaded on his own website. This is definitely good news for those who are looking for a fresh collection of smartphone wallpapers, or jealous OnePlus 3 owners who want to join in the fun. Olsson tells the story on how he got contacted by OnePlus to design the wallpapers for the OnePlus 3T. The initial design process was said to be fully non-digital as Olsson refrained from touching his computer and go back to basics.
The urgent request by OnePlus happened while Olsson was on his way to a long awaited vacation in Europe, turning his vacation into work and play at the same time. According to his story, Olsson admits that the process had to be rushed at times, facing problems such as artworks not being able to dry in time and having them ruined during his flight to Berlin.
