While the Oculus Rift headset has been available for a while now, the one piece missing from the full Oculus experience is the Touch motion controller. That said, it appears that the Oculus Touch may be coming sooner than expected as UK video games retail chain has opened pre-orders for the Oculus controller. The pirce of said controller? A cool GBY189.99.

The pricing of the Oculus Touch controller means that the full Oculus Rift experience will have a price point that is similar to HTC’s Vive headset. Converting the British Pound into the United States’ Dollar, the Oculus Rift with Touch controller will cost a total of roughly USD811. For comparison, the Vive costs USD799, complete with its own controller. Of course, Oculus may introduce a new Oculus Rift bundle that would bundle in the headset and the controller together for a cheaper price.
Oculus has yet to officially announce anything about the Oculus Touch Controller, but rumours are going around that the controlls will be available as early as late October. With the release of the Oculus Touch controller, the two main VR experience on the PC can now be compared to each other fairly.
