Naza Italia has unveiled a new and exciting V8 GT vehicle with a very familiar name. The Ferrari Portofino which was first seen at the Frankfurt International Motor Show last year has finally arrived on our shores and it brings a perfect combination of luxury, versatility and onboard comfort.
The Portofino’s V8 turbo engine is capable of producing a huge 600cv and speed of 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds. This is thanks to the new components and calibration of the engine management software, giving it 40cv more than its predecessor the California T. It is also lighter overall and that gives it a significant increase in performance and at the same time, reduce emissions. Not only is the Portofino light, it has an aggressive look to it, with two-box fastback configuration with a hard top. This gives the car extra sleekness to its silhouette with a sportier character.
For the first time this category of a Ferrari model, a third-generation electronic rear differential has been integrated with the F1-Trac, giving it both mechanical grip and full control of the car. It is also the first GT model to be fitted with EPS. Thanks to the adoption of dual-coil technology, the magnetorheological damping system has been upgraded to reduce roll which improving absorption of the road surface.
The Portofino is also focused on interior comfort as it comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display, new air-conditioning system, new steering wheel, 18-way adjustable electric seats with new backrest that boosts legroom for rear passengers and passenger display.
With all the features of a fast sports car, and the comfort of a luxury vehicle, the Ferrari Portofino is the perfect car for any occasion. It is being introduced at a base price of RM948,000.
