Moto e6 Specs Leaked

Motorola is soon expected to unveil its next-generation Moto E-series lineup of budget-friendly Android smartphones. While we do not know when the Moto E6 series phones will be launched, a new leak has shed light on the possible hardware specs of the Moto E6.

According to XDA-developers Editor-in-Chief Mishaal Rahman, the Moto E6 is codenamed “surfna”. The device will apparently be launched in the US via select carriers. Surprisingly, the Moto E6 will not be very different from its predecessor in terms of specs.

The leaked information reveals the phone will be running on a 32-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core chipset, which was announced nearly four years back. It is manufactured on a 28nm process, which means it is significantly less efficient compared to newer chipsets that power the latest entry-level and budget Android smartphones.

Moto E6 is said to sport a 5.45-inch sized display with 720 x 1440 HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone will come with 2GB of RAM, clubbed with up to 32GB onboard storage. As for optics, the Moto E6 will have a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front camera for selfies. While the hardware specs definitely sound disappointing, the phone will ship with the latest Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
