The LG G Flex 2 was launched back at CES last year. The popular flexible handset series was deemed as good as dead since LG hasn’t refreshed it so far this year. However, rumor has it that LG is reviving the G Flex series and the company is said to be gearing up for the LG G Flex 3 for IFA 2016.

According to a report by Phone Spot, the LG G Flex 3 will feature a modular design like the flagship LG G5. The flexible phone might just support “LG Friends”, which are modular accessories for the device. The G Flex 3 is also rumored to sport flagship specs – a 5.5-inch display at QHD this time, a Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal storage, expandable via micro SD. The report further states that it is possible that the handset will feature a dual-camera setup on the back like seen on the G5, coupled with an 8MP selfie camera.

If the above claims turn out to be true, the LG G Flex 3might just sell better than the G5, which was criticized by some for its design, and the controversy surrounding the flagship’s primer coated body. Anyhow, we advise you to take these rumors with an enormous amount of salt as we wait for more rumors to come our way.
