LG’s new generation OLED TVs now comes with the Alpha-9 processor

LG Malaysia showcased its line-up of consumer products with the theme, “Creating a Better Life”. They unveiled new OLED TVs, Super UHD TVs and kitchen appliances. At the same time, they announced that starting today until 27 May 2018, customers will get a 6% discount on selected LG products.

The new generation of LG OLED TVs now come with the alpha-9 Intelligent processor to deliver improvements in noise reduction, sharpness, depth enhancement and colour reproduction. It also supports colour space of 33x33x33 compared to the conventional 17x17x17. This allows the TV to display 7.3 times larger colour space compared to conventional TVs. Next, is the 4K high-frame rate which reduces eye fatigue with a clearer picture quality and smoother motion. The viewing experience is further elevated thanks to the LG Ai ThinQ embedded in the OLD TVs which acts as a voice assistant for the TV’s functionality.

Next is LG’s Super UHD TVs which offers a viewing angle of 60 degrees and keeps the colour gamut to nearly 95% with its IPS Nano Dot technology. This is achievable due to the Nano Cell Display that utilizes nano-sized light absorbing materials to absorb extra light, keeping the image quality high. Coupled with Dolby Atmos, it offers a true home cinema experience with 360 degrees surround sound.
