Lenovo has just launched possibly the ligtest laptop to date – the ThinkPad X1 Nano. It weighs just under 1KG at a measly 907g!

The 13-inch device comes with a 2K display with a 16:10 aspect ratio; on top of that, the display also supports 100% sRGB colour output, making it a good pick for content discerning folk.

In terms of design, the whole laptop looks like any ThinkPad X1 laptop – all-black exterior with the trusty TrackPoint keyboard.

Under the hood is an 11th-Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with Intel Iris X graphics – Lenovo claims that the X1 Nano is capable of performing 2.7x faster when it comes to content creation, and 20% faster office productivity, plus 2x faster gaming + streaming performance compared to other competing products. Lenovo are simply echoing the same marketing pointers as Intel here, so make of it what you will.

The laptop also can be packed with up to 16GB of memory and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage. There’s a 48Whr battery which Lenovo claims can last up to 17.3 hours of use.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano is priced from $1,399 (RM5,812) and is expected to be available in the Q4 this year. Visit their website here to learn more about the laptop.
