We all knew Apple is going to release the successor to the iPhone SE, but one question remained — is it the iPhone SE 2 or the iPhone 9? Turns out, it’s neither of them; Apple is sticking to the name iPhone SE, but will refer to it as the 2020 version.

9to5Mac also reported that the iPhone could be released tomorrow and customers will be able to place their orders soon. The 2020 iPhone SE will be available in three colours — White, Black and PRODUCT (Red) — and three storage configurations — 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

Apple has also confirmed the new name; on its website under Accessories, the company has a Belkin screen protector that works with the iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and the iPhone SE. Since the company is revealing accessories for the phone on its site, we are more convinced than ever that it’ll be available within these few days — if not tomorrow.

As revealed previously, the new iPhone SE is rumored to feature the same design with the iPhone 8 and come with a single rear camera. It’ll come with a home button that supports Touch ID but the 3D Touch feature will be gone, meaning that it might have better battery life.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also predicted the new phone to start at $399, which is around RM1,750.
