Instagram isn’t ashamed of ripping Snapchat at all. In this day and age, a phenomenon like this isn’t uncommon by any means, but Instagram has taken it to yet another level. The Facebook owned app has introduced a couple of new features which are set to crush Snapchat for good.
The now feature-filled Instagram app has added face filters for its Stories. The face filters work just like how they do on Snapchat. On top of that, users can now upload their videos in reverse with a new “Rewind” option on the app. Instagram has announced this new camera format that sits right next to “Boomerang” and “Hands Free”.
The app also sees more handy features that are actually not Snapchat inspired. For instance, new hashtag stickers which work like how “Mentions” do on Instagram Stories. Spice your Story even further with the new eraser brush, which can reveal parts of your photo or video after filling it with color.
Instagram has already rolled out the update on both the App Store and the Play Store for iOS and Android devices respectively as version 10.21. Let us know what you think of the newly added features to Instagram!
