Infinix launches HOT 20 series smartphones from RM499

Infinix is gaining momentum in the Malaysian market as it has introduced the HOT 20 series smartphones here, comprising the HOT 20 and HOT 20i, these are value for money smartphones that is set to appeal to budget phone hunters with great cameras and performance.

The Infinix HOT 20 is a Mediatek Helio G85 powered smartphone that sports a large 6.82-inch HD+ IPS display that refreshes at 90Hz, making it one of the largest phone screens of the same class that comes with a smooth refresh rate, it also has a 180Hz touch sampling rate that will benefit mobile gamers, the phone sports 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage and users can further expand the RAM up to 11GB if they desire to do so.

For those who takes a lot of photos on their phones, the Infinix HOT 20 comes with an interesting 50MP f/1.6 camera that’s said to excel in low light, while a secondary QVGA lens helps with AI scene recognition, the front camera is however a modest 8MP sensor.

The HOT 20 has a 5000mAh battery to power your day and supports 18W fast charging, though it will definitely take some time to juice up the phone but it is better than the regular 10W charging.

The Infinix HOT 20i is essentially an entry-level device that’s powered by a Mediatek Helio G25 chip paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage, but it still offers great value with a large 6.6-inch display that has great outdoor visibility, a 13MP f/1.8 main and 8MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery that offers days of usage.

Customers will be able to purchase the Infinix HOT 20 series at offline retail channels on 4th November 2022 onwards, the Infinix HOT 20 and HOT 20i retail at an affordable price of RM599 and RM499 respectively, the phones will only be available at Infinix’s Official Shopee Store on 11 November 2022.
