The Infinity-O display first came to light when Samsung announced that it might be shown on the Samsung Galaxy A8s, but now Huawei has released a teaser on its Weibo account, which also features the same Infinity-O display.
The Infinity-O display is basically a hole in the smartphone’s screen, which will also be the location of the front camera. Huawei seems to be in a race with Samsung, and users are also eager to see which smartphone brand will first release a smartphone with said display.

On Huawei’s Weibo account, they have stated that they will be releasing the smartphone in December, but so is the Samsung Galaxy A8s. Aside from Samsung’s A8s, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will also have the Infinity-O display, so Huawei probably have to come up with a flagship device that has the similar display if they’re trying to go up against Samsung.
The first Huawei smartphone with Infinity-O display is also rumoured to either be the Nova 3S or Nova 4. Leaks suggest that the smartphone will be equipped with Kirin 980 processor, up to 8GB RAM and also 4230mAh battery. To put it simply, we can only wait till December to find out more information on the new smartphone by Huawei.
