HUAWEI is introducing a new model to its HUAWEI Y series today — the HUAWEI Y7a. The latest addition is priced at RM799 and will be available in Malaysia from October 30 onwards.
6.67-inch FHD display
This budget device has a huge 6.67-inch LCD screen featuring a punch hole cutout that houses its 8MP selfie camera. On the rear, it comes with a 48MP main lens paired with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and two 2MP lens for macro and portrait shots.
5,000mAh battery
The highlight of this phone is not only its huge screen, but also its massive battery. The HUAWEI Y7a has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W HUAWEI SuperCharge and HUAWEI claims that it’ll only need 10 minutes to charge for two hours of video playback.
128GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB
Apart from that, the new HUAWEI phone has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, but it can be expandable up to 512GB with a MicroSD card. It shops with EMUI 10.1 and is equipped with a Kirin 710A chipset.
HUAWEI Y7a: Price and availability
The HUAWEI Y7a is available in Crush Green, Blush Gold and Midnight Black; it can be purchased at all HUAWEI Experience Stores from October 30 onwards and HUAWEI will also include free access up to 15GB of HUAWEI Cloud Storage for a year.
