Today, HTC Malaysia has launched the HTC One M8’s plastic twin the HTC One E8 in Malaysia, the device has almost the same hardware internals as the One M8 such as the Snapdragon 801 quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB of built-in storage with expandable storage, 5-inch Full HD SLCD 3 display and LTE network support. The only difference between the One M8, is that the main camera has been changed to a 13 Megapixel f/2.0 BSI while maintaining the same gorgeous 5 Megapixel front facing camera, and of course the One E8 doesn’t have the same brushed metal chassis like its flagship One M8. HTC Malaysia says that the introduction of the One E8 is to allow consumer to buy today’s technology at an affordable price, which the One M8 already offers and HTC has brought some great features over to the One E8.
The HTC One E8 comes preloaded with Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 onboard, while bringing other features over like Motion Launch, HTC Zoe and HTC Boomsound. It is already available at authorized retailers at the price of RM1699.
