You’ve seen our first look and unboxing of the Motorola’s entry level smartphone a few days back, the phone is now official and exclusively sold by Lazada Malaysia today at the price of RM369, which is an extremely affordable price point and Motorolaclaims that the Moto E will finally kill feature phones off the smartphone market. The Moto E event was launched at KL Tower with Lazada Malaysia and Motorola folks present while introducing former Playboy model Felixia Yeap as the ambassador ofMotorola Malaysia.

The Moto E is probably the cheapest and most powerful entry-level Dual SIM smartphone to date, though we are not talking about an entry level quad-core processor onboard, but it has an extremely capable Snapdragon 200 Dual Core CPU with 1GB of RAM, 4.3” qHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 5 Megapixel Fixed-Focus camera and a 1980mAh battery. As we’ve done an early hands on unboxing of the video, our first impressions were pretty positive as the device doesn’t come with any bloatware on it and sticks very much to the stock Android experience.

What’s fun about using the Moto E is the colorful shell covers, there are currently 3 colors – Turquoise, Vivid Red, and Lemon Lime – being sold at Lazada’s Moto E page, which you can simply buy one each at RM39 and exchange the back cover of the phone easily, and we totally love the rubberized material on it which doesn’t slip off our hands easily.

Motorola has even daringly compared the real world performance of the Moto E with Samsung’s GALAXY S4, which the latter is currently selling at a much more higher price tag, it really tempts us to do a performance comparison with some flagships we have in our labs and we’ll try to attempt one.

Our early verdict of the device – The Moto E beats all other entry-level and mid-range devices with its affordable price tag while assuring consumers getting the latest and greatest official Android OS updates once they are made available by Google.
