Today, HP has launched the OMEN by HP line of products in Malaysia which is re-designed and re-engineered from the ground up. The new line up will give gamers and esports athletes the edge and confidence needed to perform at the highest global level.
First, is the OMEN by HP Desktop, designed for the true performance gamer that has features to enhance functionality and usability. With that, HP has made sure the components in the casing is easily accessible for adding on parts or maintenance. The desktop features high-performance graphics with up to dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or dual Radeon RX580, allowing you to run games at the highest settings with resolutions above 1080p.
Other than that, it is equipped with an Intel Core i5 or i7, thermal engineering with all-around edge vents and optional liquid cooling, optional PCIe SSD or SSD and HDD storage options, OMEN Command Center with Overclocking to improve CPU performance on the fly and Network Booster to reduce latency.
Next is the OMEN by HP Laptops which were completely reinvented and redesigned in 2017 to offer more expansion capabilities, additional ports and more VR compatibility. The laptops will come in two variants, the 15-inch version and 17-inch, with slight changes in the specs offered.
The laptops will also feature high-performance desktop grade Radeon RX550 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 thanks to the Max-Q design, and the OMEN 17 will feature NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 580, 7th-Gen Intel Core-i Quad Core processors, high-performance cooling  with multi-fan, heat pipe, and exhaust to keep the system cool even when gaming, integrated HP Dual Speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen, Dragon-red backlit keyboard with 26-key rollover anti-ghosting, 4K display option or 120Hz 1080p display with NVIDIA G-Sync or 60Hz 1080p with FreeSync on the Radeon configuration, and easy access panel to HDD, SSD and RAM.
Both the OMEN Desktop and Laptop is currently available for purchase at all authorised HP shops. The OMEN Desktop will retail starting from RM5,999, the OMEN 15 Laptop retails from RM4,499 and the OMEN 17 Laptop will retail starting from RM8,899.
