Samsung has released a teaser video ahead of CES 2022, foreshadowing the multiple innovations that will be brought to the table during the annual tech convention. Before that, Samsung will be holding its own online pre-show keynote address one day before CES 2022 officially kicks off.
Held under the theme of Together for Tomorrow, Samsung will introduce its efforts in making life more sustainable at work while also showcasing its latest innovative technologies.
What you can expect from Samsung
Monitors
Odyssey Neo G8
The Odyssey Neo G8 is the world’s first 4K 1000R curved screen gaming monitor that sports a refresh rate of 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time (GtG). Featuring Quantum Mini LEDs and Quantum HDR 2000, the monitor brings out 2,000 nits of brightness and vows to provide you with stunning picture quality.
Smart Monitor M8
For those who value style, the Smart Monitor M8 sports an ultra-slim design and a sophisticated flat-back design that comes in a warm white colour. The 32-inch UHD panel provides 99% sRGB colour gamut and supports 1.07 billion colours at 400 nits of brightness.
Smart TV and productivity apps are pre-installed directly into the monitor so you don’t even need a PC to do work or entertainment. Other than that, it comes with a movable magnetic SlimFit Cam so you can have crystal clear video calls even when working from home.
High Resolution Monitor S8
Compared to the previous two monitors, the High Resolution Monitor S8 will be available in two sizes — 27-inch or 32-inch. Catering for creators and designers, the UHD panel delivers up to 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut along with an ultrawide range of rich and nuanced colours from the S80PB.
Fun fact: It’s the world’s first Underwriter Laboratories verified Glare Free monitor as a Matte Display is applied on top of the panel. This monitor also offers comfortable ergonomic features as it is compatible with VESA mounts and has a Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) which can tilt, swivel and pivot control points.
TVs
Other than that, Samsung will showcase its new MICRO LED displays, Neo QLED 8K display aimed to provide pristine images and immersive soundscape, and Lifestyle TVs that come with three choices — The Frame, The Serif, and The Sero. The MICRO LED displays will be shown in three different sizes — 89-inch, 101-inch. and 110-inch.
Smartphones
As for smartphones, it is likely that Samsung will reveal the long overdue Galaxy S21 FE and possibly even tease its new Galaxy S22 series.
