LG has just announced that beginning this May, any purchase of a 4K UHD TV will be bundled together with three months of Netflix premium plan to take advantage of the wide range of 4K and HDR content that Netflix has to offer. LG boast that content from Netflix watched on LG TVs will be in superb picture quality with great definition and more vivid colours, giving viewers a more immersive experience.
The company is taking it a step further by implementing a dedicated Netflix button into LG’s Magic Remote to ensure that the experience of watching shows on Netflix is more convenient than ever, and with the quick response that the TV can provide to users, TVs from LG have earned designations as Netflix Recommended TVs for three years in a row. David Oh, Managing Director of LG Electronics, goes on to say that they are constantly working on giving smart TV owners faster and easier ways to access 4K HDR content to give users a more enjoyable viewing experience.
To register for the free three months of Netflix subscription, users need to register for Netflix on their LG TV by selecting Netflix promotion wedge banner, by using the Magic Remote, users can select “Access My Content” to easily install the Netflix app. Upon entering the promotion page, users will instantly get a three-month gift subscription.
