DJI may have been selling its Zenmuse cameras for its drones over the years, its acquisition of Hasselblad has finally resulted in another new camera attachment for its Matrice 600 Pro drone, a 100-megapixel Hasselblad H6D-100c camera, which will work alongside with the Ronin-MX gimbal attachment and takes aerial imaging to the next level. The Hasselblad H6D-100c camera has a huge 53.4mmx40mm sensor that will offer precise detail and outstanding color reproduction even in low lighting conditions, the combination of the camera, drone and gimbal makes it the “World’s First 100-megapixel Integrated Aerial Photography Platform”.

The DJI Matrice 600 is a hexacopter that has always been targeted for site researchers and film makers, the drone retails at $4999, together with the Ronin-MX gimbal system it is able to carry a payload of up to 6kg, it also comes with the advanced Lightbridge 2 transmission system and is able to fly up to 5KM in distance. No pricing has been announced for this new Hasselblad combo, however if you happen to be at NAB Las Vegas, the Matrice 600 Pro, Ronin-MX and Hasselblad H6D-100c are at the show floor over at DJI’s booth in Las Vegas Convention Center.
