CMF by Nothing has officially expanded its audio lineup with the launch of the CMF Clip Pro, the brand’s first open-ear wireless earbuds designed for users who want to stay aware of their surroundings without sacrificing sound quality. Featuring a lightweight clip-on design, Hi-Res Audio support, intelligent calling features and up to 32.5 hours of battery life, the CMF Clip Pro aims to make open-ear listening more comfortable and accessible for everyday use.
Open-ear earbuds have become increasingly popular among commuters, office workers and fitness enthusiasts who prefer to remain aware of ambient sounds while enjoying music or taking calls. With the Clip Pro, CMF has focused on solving two of the category’s biggest challenges—comfort and audio quality—through a redesigned ergonomic fit and upgraded acoustic hardware.
Lightweight Clip-On Design for All-Day Comfort
The CMF Clip Pro features a new 3-point Clip Design that distributes pressure evenly across the ear for a more secure and comfortable fit during extended wear. The earbuds utilise an elastic titanium wire core within the slim C-bridge, allowing them to adapt naturally to different ear shapes while remaining lightweight.
Each earbud weighs just 5.9g and uses skin-friendly materials to improve long-term comfort. The listening module has also been redesigned to sit closer to the ear canal for improved sound direction while reducing unnecessary contact with the ear.
Hi-Res Audio With Enhanced Bass Performance
Powering the listening experience is a custom 10.8mm dual-magnet dynamic driver designed to deliver richer bass, detailed vocals and clear high frequencies.
To address the typical bass limitations of open-ear earbuds, CMF has developed Ultra Bass Technology, which intelligently enhances low frequencies while reducing treble distortion for a more balanced sound signature. The Clip Pro is also Hi-Res Audio Certified and supports LDAC, AAC and SBC codecs for higher-quality wireless audio on compatible devices.
Clearer Calls and Improved Privacy
For voice calls, the CMF Clip Pro combines four HD microphones with VPU-powered Clear Voice Technology to separate the user’s voice from surrounding noise in real time. This helps improve call clarity in busy streets, cafés, offices and windy outdoor environments.
The earbuds also introduce Sound Seal technology, which reduces sound leakage by intelligently managing mid and high frequencies. Users can customise the feature through the Nothing X app to optimise privacy for calls or both calls and media playback.
Smart Dial and Everyday Features
Continuing CMF’s industrial design philosophy, the charging case features a built-in Smart Dial that allows users to control volume, playback, answer calls and pair devices without reaching for their smartphone.
The earbuds also feature physical button controls, making them easier to operate during workouts or while wearing gloves. Additional features include Bluetooth 5.4, Dual Device Connection, Low Latency Mode for gaming, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, IP54 water and dust resistance, and support for extensive customisation through the Nothing X app.
Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge, extending to 32.5 hours with the charging case. A quick 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening time when needed.
Availability
The CMF Clip Pro will be offered in Dark Grey, Light Grey and Coral colour options.
CMF has yet to announce Malaysian pricing and local availability, with more details expected at a later date.
