Asus is having a rather quiet CES, but that did not stop them from unveiling their first entry into the Snapdragon Windows laptop with the Asus NovaGo 2-in-1 laptop which comes with the Snapdragon 835 and Windows 10S inside.

For those of you that don’t want to use the rather limited Windows 10S will get a free upgrade option to Windows 10 Pro. The NovaGo comes with a 13.3-inch FHD screen, 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4x memory, 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of UFS2.0 storage and a Snapdragon X16 modem which supports download speeds of up to 1Gbps and upload speeds up to 150Mbps. As for I/O, it comes with two USB 3.1 ports, audio jack, Nano SIM tray, MicroSD card reader and an HDMI port. Asus claims that it can offer 22 hours of battery life and over 30 days of standby which outperforms many other laptops out there thanks to the Snapdragon processor. The laptop also supports quick-charge which can give you 5 hours of battery life with just a 15-minute charge.

As of now, Asus has listed Star Gray as the only colour option for the NovaGo and it will come with a hefty price tag of $799. It is still debatable whether it’s worth paying that much for a laptop that runs on a mobile phone processor, we can only know more once we get our hands on one.
